SZMC began with
the Department of pharmacy and then Nursing, Physical Therapy, Optometry, Early
Childhood Care & Education, Applied Foreign Languages, Information Management,
medical Imaging Technology, and Dental Laboratory Technology.
The beautiful
new campus is located in Luju, Kaohsiung County. It has contains three
eight-floor dormitories, and is designed by the well- known architects, Dr Chang
wen-te and Mr. Chen Jung Chuan. Further more, the new campus also includes,
library, auditorium, performing hall, art gallery, student center, professional
labs and research rooms. Transportation to the new campus is very convenient.
From several main highways, one can access the campus easily.
On June 5th,
2001, Mr. Lin Chao Chia, and our President, Chan Jin hsiung, won the Outstanding
Alumni Award of National Taiwan Normal University.
On September
23rd, 2002, Mr. Lin Chao Chia, won the prize of Top Ten Outstanding Educators of
Taiwan.
